Well Now!
I miss alot by not going on this site! I missed Daegans birthday, moms birthday, Sue pictures of her fantastic house...The most amazing photo of Finn in those pants?!...Whoa. I apologize for being and accountable sister, daughter, aunt....I was just thinking last night as I sobbed hysterically to the movie "Little Women", that I really miss my mother and sisters. I was so envious of Jo, Beth, and those other two sisters...Mary?...Crap..I have already forgotten the names, but I digress, I was so envious of their relationship. I was further impressed with Jo's comment at one point in the movie (I think right one one of the sisters was getting hitched)....She said "why must things change?...I wish things could just all stay together, my sisters and I"...I cried like a baby (then laughed hysterically for my own personal dramatics)...*sigh*. Needless to say, I think (and I am willing to head this up) that we should plan some sort of "mother daughters" gathering? Seriously how hard could it be? We could do it in the Summer, or next Fall.....or something?...An extended weekend perhaps?...These longer days of sunlight have inspired me to think of ways of how to get together. In the mean time, I will try to post more to this site...at least that would be a start.
On another note, I will let you guys know whats been going on in my life a bit. I still have a job, and I am attending classes at NOVA until May 21st. Lukas, Sue, Brad, and myself are off to Colorado May 14th-18th! Cannot wait to see Mom and Pa's new home. It should be a real treat. Kafka is almost a 60 pound pooch now....and he is currently in his "defiant teenage months". He "tests" me on a daily basis which is loads of fun, and opportunity to practice patience, tolerance, and love (LOADS!)...Lukas still has a job at Balduccis (although they were "bought out"...but have kept him on to work, since he is such a fabulous worker (I should know, he's always bringing work home, and keeping it short and sweet when I call him at his work...so as not to infringe on worky work time)....Um...I am currently helping plan 2 weddings...Sada's, and my friend Coco. It's pretty exciting stuff, and I was grateful for the chance to be of service to their weddings. I get to call caterers, flower shops, look for dresses, and knick knacks for tables....and the best part? It's not my wedding! HAHA! Oh! Lukas has been a "non-smoker" for almost 3 weeks! He told me he is doing it "for the baby babe"...No, I am not preggers...he want to be a healthy father....so, he stopped...Pretty cool. And he does not know it, but I will be attempting to stop smoking myself..shortly. Last, but not least,....I am getting a root canal! Whooo hoo!...I had yet another "mom was right" moment, sitting in the dentists chair as she drilled, and drilled, and filled....Mom used to tell me that if I ate and drank sugary, fat stuff...etc...and did not brush and floss...I would end up having "holes in my head"!....I don't recall her telling me they would be Expensive holes...Ha! Live and learn right? So, I now am on a diet of, no more than a few cups of coffee daily, no soda, juice, etc....basically, nothing I enjoy eating! Yeah to growing up huh?...Lukas said to me the other day that "taking responsibilty for our health, and things are not always fun, but thats what you gotta do babe, thats part of being a grown up!"...Then he had a good laugh at my "puss face" after he made those remarks....He's right though.....Any hoo.....I miss you all terribly....I hope to hear from everyone...And if I don't I will be calling, texting, harassing you in some was....Love you all! Sarah

Happy Spring
Hi everyone. Just wanted to say hope you all had a good first day of spring yesterday. My soccer team barely made it into our end-session-tournament last night and we beat the first and second place teams winning the tournament. We even got a T-shirt! Obviously this is huge for me because in so many other sporting events I partake in there are no championships or free T-shirts ... unless of course everyone gets a shirt for participating and paying the $25 entry fee (like last week's running shirt).
That's all for me.
I'm super excited to have Laura and the kidlets up next weekend!!!!
Love you all.

The New House
As Promised, here are some pictures:
Here's the front.
Here's the part of our kitchen where we keep the kitchen table and the cat. Bart really like's Brad's Grandma's chairs.
Here's the kitchen. We believe the dishwasher at my right is haunted (it sometimes turns itself on).
This is a well-lit closet in the basement.
Here's the glorious wall of closets. Behind each of these doors is a closet. Behind the last door on the left, there is a haunted closet (it rattles a bit).
Here's the living room. Brad and I constructed the coffee table together (it's from Ikea). Apparently, I put the coffee table's drawers handle's on upside down. I've been marked questionable as a participant in future construction projects.
Here's our sun porch. The kitties like hanging out in here.
Where is everyone?
Things have been pretty quiet here on Go Tell it on the Mountain. I guess everyone has lives or something.
Not me! I spent yesterday running errands and starting seeds so that hopefully I'll have some flowers growing here at some point. Then I put some boxes in the attic and washed the kitchen floor (which totally made me feel like mom because I kept yelling at the cat not to walk on it...).
Anyway, I'll post some pictures of the house so that you can see what it looks like.
Hope you're all enjoying the warm weather!
